Much sympathy & love

Brian was my Godfather for 3 decade´s, and even before that was writing me kind and thoughtful letters. We spoke often weekly where he would call me from his office in PB (and before that in SF). He always contacted me on the holiday´s and was always of such good cheer. He sent me books he thought I should read, and was always available for counsel. In all our talks he was constantly funny too, and he was never critical. Always a joy to be with. Upbeat, with wonderful story´s and vast...

It was such an honor to be able to spend time with Brian Burns, a man of many interests and talents. What a blessing to see his love of family and friends in his warm Irish tradition. He always had time to listen and wisely advise. He will be missed here on earth but is I trust being held in the arms of God.
