I , also, worked with Brian at Star Market, Lynn , in the late 70s-early 80s. Such a great guy and always fun to work with; and never without a few one-liners. Rest well, Cal.

Brian is a Calnan whom I never had the pleasure of meeting. However, reading these wonderful tributes, that´s my loss. He certainly lived up to the Calnan name and values. My condolences to his family. May he rest in peace.

I remember Brian from St.Michael grammer school. Brian was great classmate. On behalf of myself and my family we wish the Calnan family the peace of Christ and God's blessing during this difficult time and always.

He knew the business inside out. He took great pride in his job, and loved his family completely! Sometimes our...

I had the pleasure of working with Brian at Axcelis Technologies for 8 years. He was both a true gentleman and someone that was respected by virtually everyone in the company for his commitment to the customer and his personal integrity. May he rest in peace, a wonderful man.

I remember when I met brian I worked on his smaller fishing boat that he had first when he moved to the lake, he told me stories about the boat and he was the nicest man! I will always remember seeing him once a year to chat and clean/ shrink wrap his smaller fishing boat! He will be missed by many!

I worked at Star Market in Lynn with Brian from 78-82. He was my first boss there. Every time I hear I Love You Baby by Frankie Vali, I immediately think of him because he would sing it out loud when it came over the store stereo system. Wonderful man and friend. Tony Vassallo, Peabody, MA
