Brian E. Canavan

Brian and I were close friends for many years. I taught him guitar, and we had a great time jamming together, cliff climbing and just hanging out to talk. I miss you very much, bro.

The photos I have of Brian go back quite a ways. I'm sharing one of Brian and I in the music room in my parent's house in Chittenango back in 1986-87. We were taking a break from playing guitar. My late sister, Jo Michelle took the photo of us.

I started giving Brian guitar lessons after finishing a 10-hour shifts. We'd sit around afterwards and talk until 1 AM. Bro and I took in many Rock concerts, an outstanding one was GTR. We had week-long fun together, going cliff climbing.

Just came across this obit for Brian as I was looking for his mother, Nancy. I feel so badly to hear of her son's death. When I was Nancy's neighbor in Chittenango, I can remember Jeffrey more clearly than Brian but I'm sure he grew up to be a wonderful man. My condolences to Nancy.

I don't Brian or his family, My deepest condolences. I was on northway after accident had happened an I continually prayed. As my dad was a truck driver as is my younger brother is. I pray your beautiful memories of him will help your family through such a sad time. Sincerely Joy Johnson
