Caraker, Brian Joseph 1/5/1972 -- 1/26/2013 He has always claimed that on January fifth 1972, Mom and Dad finally got it right. For 41 years that swagger earned him the loyalty and love of great friends and family. Our baby brother grew taller than us as he moved on from St. Patrick's Catholic...

Not sure what to say?

I cannot believe it´s been ten years since Brian has passed. I was a prolific picture taker when my son and daughters friends were gathered here at the house; Brian was in those pictures. One of our last visits before he moved from Sarasota was a request to see if Brian´s Dad was in any of those pictures. Sadly I never met him so I had no photos to offer Brian. HIs father had just passed and he was looking for photos. We all liked Brian and admired his kindness and sweet personality. Rest in...

Stairway to Heaven - our ultimate goal

Brian was an online friend that I met through playing mafia wars and what I knew of him, in the brief time that i knew him, is that he was a very kind and cheerful person. We enjoyed playing and chatting - even chatted about his move to San Diego and his settling in over here... So, my prayer is for Brian's family, that they would be filled with God's mighty strength, His comfort and His peace to move on, as we know that Brian is in the arms of Jesus at this very moment - how awesome is that?

Brian - Be safe with God, my friend. You were a kind soul and the world is a poorer place with your passing.

Brian was part of my junior high experience in the mid-80s... so along with everything that everyone else associates with that decade-- neon, synth-pop, Swatches, tight-rolled pants, I could go on-- he is one of the *people* who will always make that time a pleasant one for me to remember. I'm grateful for those years we got to share, for his big smile, and for his loud laugh-- not to mention his insistence on the correct pronunciation of "Porsche." Rest in peace, Brian.

I was proud to have Brian as a friend from my freshman year days at Tulane until now. He was a loyal friend who was always there when you needed him.

Brian will be missed by those of us in Sarasota who knew and loved him. He was smart, charming, kind and always had an air of sweetness about him. He was very sucessful professsionally here in town, and respected by those colleagues. I have wonderful pictures of Brian in my family album from the times he visited us on Christmas Day, and many, many very nice memories. My heart goes out to his family--especially his mother as my own sweet son , a friend of Brian's, is so near in age to...

I remember meeting Brian in a Dale Carnegie class years ago. His smile was infectious! That is how I choose to remember Brian Caraker! Jason and I are saddened to hear of his death. We are praying for his family and friends. May God help you find strength and peace at this time of sorrow!!
