Not sure what to say?

To the Carbaugh Family,
My deepest condolences on the loss of Brian. I never met Brian, but what I have read he sounded like a very happy kid. Having two sons of my own, I could not possibly imagine what you are and have gone through. God Bless you all!

Jim, Scott, and Katie

Jim, Scott and Katie,
Your family touched my heart. I haven't stopped thinking about you. Even though I didn't know Brian, I feel like I got to know him through your family, the stories and the pictures. Your strength, love and kindness taught us so much. I was honored to be able to take care of Brian at Childrens Hospital.

I was in Brians history class.
He was an amazing kid who did a lot of good things for this world. He ALWAYS had a smile on his face and was very funny. He sat behind me in this class and I always used to ask him how to spell words. He was so smart. He was a very wonderful joy to have in the class, and made it seem more fun.
We miss you Brian.

Dear Carbaugh Family
Although I have never had the opportunity to meet Brian, I always recall the special joy and pride in Jim's voice when he spoke of his Family. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this tragic time.

Brian and your family touched us all at Childrens Hospital as we fought so hard to save his life. This experience has humbled us, and left us incredibly grateful for all we are blessed with, as it so easily can be taken away.
Marlo (RT at Childrens)

To Jim & family,

My son Sammy is in Brian's Jiu Jitsu class and I was just told this evening by one of Brian's instructors about his passing. I am devastated by this news.

Brian always had a smile on his face in class, even after getting choked or arm barred. I loved watching him because his attitude was so incredible.

May you accept my most sincere condolences at your loss. Reading the wonderful posts of his many friends on this site only verifies what I had already...

Jim, Scott, and Katie
I have not stopped thinking of Brian and your family. You are all amazing, strong and giving. I work the night shift at Children's Hospital and was able to meet the large group of loving friends and family who visit throughout Brian's stay. I was able to get to know Brian through all the stories and pictures shared.I am thankful for the time I spent with your family and friends. You are always in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Family,
My name is Emily Kerr I was in Brian's kindergarten class. I had no idea he went to Diegueno, all the memories of him are from kindergarten. I remember sitting next to him and holding his hand for circle time, he was one of the nicest people. I wish I had gotten to know him better, but I know he is in a safe place, heaven.
I am so sorry.
