With a swish of the tie and a genuine smile, he went about the extraordinary balancing act of leadership and friendship. I knew my son was in good hands, I am happy that he had the opportunity to know you.My deepest sympathy to all who knew the very special Mr Clarkson.

How does one sum up so many years of fond memories and good conversations. BC was an amazing teacher, HoB, coach, mentor and friend. It was a privilege and honour to be mentored and to have worked with such an amazing person. Your strength has been an inspiration to us all, and the lasting positive impact you had on so many young men will leave a wonderful, lasting legacy. My deepest sympathy to Karen, Nicola and Haydn.

Dear Karen, Nicola and Hayden, our thoughts and prayers are with you. Brian was a thorough gentleman and a good-humoured colleague. He will be sadly missed at Hale. Sonja, Ayeesha and Mahendra Vaswani.
