Not sure what to say?

The news that Dr. Brian Decker passed away so soon after my last visit with him deeply saddened me. I wish I had asked him in a more careful way how he was and listened more closely. I wish I could tell him again how very grateful I am to have found a doctor so compassionate and skilled not long after my struggle with FQAD began in 2015. Three years later, I've managed to keep my life going through the struggle and I'm hopeful that I'm starting to turn the corner. For this, I have deep...

I just heard today from another Dr on my team that Dr. Deckard has passed away. He was an awesome Dr. I met him when I made the decision of Home Dialysis. He was very supportive and always listened to me. He eventually called me Dr. Lol he knew that I knew what my body was telling g me and would listen to me and do the tests to prove me correct. He will be greatly missed. Prayers to his family.

Just received the letter today informing me of this loss. I am so sorry for the loss of Dr. Decker. He was one of my doctors who treated me after my RCC diagnosis. He was warm and caring. He will be missed. In sorrow,

Dr. Decker will be missed terribly. He was the best. He was so strong. He helped me through FQ toxicity when I had no idea what was happening to me. So grateful that God allowed me to find him at the right time. I have a blessed hope that I will see him again in that great getting up morning. Rest well Dr. Decker until morning!

Dr. Decker was a rock for me when I needed it most. He gave me compassion and validation. He was a phenomenal doctor that was a beacon of light during many patients' most trying times. He will be missed.

Dr. Decker was an amazing doctor who I credit with saving my life after I became sick with FQ Toxicity after taking Cipro. He was the only doctor who believed and helped me. Other doctors said I was crazy, but Dr. Decker showed compassion and gave me hope. He was knowledgeable and willing to research things he did not know for the sake of his patients, and never claimed to be superior. He was a wonderful human being and will be dearly missed. Thoughts and prayers to his family and friends....

I had been in touch with Dr Decker and spoke with him, when I was at my worst from cipro poisoning. I did not think I would live at that point and my side effects, physical and mental were horrifying. Dr Decker felt like my only hope at that point. I couldn't travel to Indiana, and as a CA resident, he couldn't "treat" me but he said he would be willing to do a phone consult with a doctor here (for free!!!!) to discuss some of my options. I asked....BEGGED ...a half dozen doctors here, and...

I just found out about the passing of Dr. Decker. He was such a loving, kind and caring person. He will be missed dearly. My prayers are with the family.

I was very saddened to hear about the passing of Brian. I got to know the Decker family through bethel United Methodist. I send my deepest condolences to Peggy, Scott, and Noah.
