Brian N. Differt

1959-2021

Age ~ 62

Brian N. Differt, 62, of the Town of Harrison, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 25, 2021, at his home.

Brian was born in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin on June 17, 1959 to Richard N. and Nancy M. (Wojciechowski) Differt. He was raised in Wauwatosa until the age of ten, when the family moved to Appleton. The family lived there for three years when they moved to Hazelhurst. Brian graduated from Lakeland Union High School in 1977. In the early 1990’s, Brian along with his brother Randy started the B & R Seamless gutter business which was located in Wausau. Brian retired from this successful business in 2005. He met his future wife, Sue Hawley while employed at Pizza Hut in Minocqua. The couple were united in marriage on May 25, 1979. The couple lived in Schofield for many years. After Sue passed away, Brian moved to the Town of Harrison living a very simple life for the past three years.

Brian enjoyed hunting, ATV riding and the quiet of the Northwoods.

He will be dearly missed by his parents; Richard and Nancy Differt of Lake Tomahawk, brother; Scott (Laurie) of Hartford, Wisconsin, sister-in-law; Marilou Differt of Schofield, Wisconsin, four nephews; Kent (Deserie), Cory (Morgan), Cody, Andrew (Kayla), and one niece; Nikki. Also surviving are other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife; Sue in 2018 and a brother; Randy Differt in 2007.

Private family services will be held.

Interment will take place at Union Grove Cemetery.

Not sure what to say?

Nancy, Dick and family, I just found out that Brian passed away. I am so sorry to hear that. Losing a child, no matter what the age, is probably the hardest thing in the world. I don't think I ever met Brian that I can recall, but I know you two quite well. My condolences and prayers go out to you.

Sending strength and prayers
