Not sure what to say?

Always such a good officer and hard worker! He is missed

Brian was hired just a couple of months after me at the Police Bureau and we crossed paths during our careers. Brian had a gruff side but what really shined through was his sense of humor. It was always fun to talk with him because he always said what was on his mind and called it the way he saw it. Refreshing honesty. I am sure he is up in heaven pounding nails.
Prayers and Blessings for Brian and for all his family especially his daughter, Shannon.

I got to know Brian when he asked me to go undercover. We were very effective and despite some close calls Brian was always there as a reliable and competent cover officer.
We got to know each other and shared a common interest in building construction and I enjoyed assisting him with projects on occasion.
Thanks Brian for many enduring memories. My sincerest condolences to you Shannon and your family.

I was a dispatcher when Brian was an officer. He would come to visit sometimes and would always tease us and make us laugh. He had that gruff voice but a good heart!

Saddened that Brian left us so soon. The PPB family will deeply miss you.

I want to thank each and everyone of you who left condolences about my dad. They made me smile and feel so much pride, they also made me cry too. My dad was an amazing officer and person, best of all dad.

Love,
Shannon

I worked around Brian at East Precinct for a short time. I also spent time with Brian as a driving instructor. As others have said, he was a no nonsense, get it done individual. Brian was a welcome addition on any call or social gathering.

My condolences to his family and loved ones.

Rest in peace Sunshine.

I enjoyed working with Brian and knew I could always depend on him as a cover officer. His unique style was welcome at many calls and he was capable of controlling many different situations. We shared a love for Corvettes and had many discussions about them (along with many other cars). Brian will be missed and I send condolences to his family.

I worked North Nights with Brian in the early 80's. A man of few words but a very good officer you could always count on.
