Brian Eigel

We first met Brian during a distance race at Christopher Newport University. My son and other distance runners from the Tidewater Virginia area were there to run against one of the States best distance runners. We were all in awe of his discipline and after the first lap he took off and left the field in disbelief of his running skill. It's been quite some time, but I went to school with Brian in Christiansburg. We shared many classes, and I participated in track and cross country, where he obviously shined. I remember Brian as a kind and generous person. I am so sorry for your loss.

Rest easy, Eigel. You were a great teammate and good to the core. I'm glad our life paths got to cross for a few years.
