Brian K. Ferrell, 44, Anderson, died February 4, 2004 at his residence after an extended illness.
He was born July 31, 1959 in Anderson, and lived in Anderson all of his life. He worked for H & H Steel Company in Lawrence, IN and was a US Army Veteran.
He is survived by his mother and step father, Elaine and Donald Maish of Elwood; children, Amanda Cooper, Jabez Ferrell, and Brianna Ferrell, all of Anderson; grandchildren, Lance Cooper, Michael Martin, Fate Martin, and Chais Ferrell; brother, Dwayne T. Ferrell; step grandfather, John R. Lowe; step brothers, Danny Maish and Donald Maish, Jr., both of Indianapolis; several nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles, and aunts, including, Elsie Collins of Livingston, TN; and the mother of his children, Jeannette Cooper.
He was preceded in death by his father, Finley Ferrell; brother, Donald E. Ferrell; paternal grandparents, Albert T. and Eliza Ferrell; maternal grandparents, Dwayne O’Bryant and Edith Riall O’Bryant Lowe; and uncle, Finis Ferrell.
Services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Home with the Rev. Toby Lambert officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery in Alexandria.
Visitation will be 3-6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
