Not sure what to say?

Hey Fitz, I am thinking of you as I browse through "Swerve" by Stephen Greenblatt, a book you had passion for and shared with me. It made such an impression that I´ve passed it on to many other like-minded souls. Happily, the many seeds you planted in the minds and hearts of your friends are still sprouting here on Earth. We all miss your irascible humor and dry wit ,which would surely have become even more mordant with age. And the Soggy Bottom boys and girls sense your presence at the...

Brian is indeed remembered and loved all year long, not just in November. So many family memories, so much shared in Euclid! Miss you always, Bri-ho!

Our big brother, Brian, is still loved. Bri-ho told me how to twiddle my thumbs if I had to wait quietly somewhere.

Saw your note today, Mary. It is still so hard to believe that Brian has moved on from us, especially at family gathering times. You are so right...thank God we are not alone in grief. I am happy to remember Brian´s crazy, serious, adventurous, proud times with others who love him.

I found myself returning to this page recently as dad is rarely far from my thoughts and I wanted to just say thank you to each of you for leaving your messages here. There is no doubt in my mind that he has received each of them and seeing your messages has provided such a critical reminder that we´re not alone in our grief. Much love, Mary

Hey Fitz, It's been 4 years, and I miss you more than ever. It was always a joy to tap into your well hidden but deep reservoirs of irreverence and playful mischief. I often listen to the many music playlists I made to share with you and Fran during my late night visits and I know just which lyrics are gonna make you nod, chuckle or smile. (like Tom Waits - "a rat always knows when he's in with weasels"). I think of you all the time and sometimes Denny and I visit your grave and play TS...

Wish my brother Brian was still around so that we could spend time visiting him and his family in Euclid or, have everyone come visit us in Alaska. Karin and I are forever grateful that they were in Sitka for our wedding and glad that they all had such a fun time. We'll all meet again because, as our Old Man used to say..."In a thousand years, we'll all be bald".

Thinking of my big brother Bri-ho today. So many wonderful, crazy, fun memories of life in a big family with the 7 of us kids. Brian was such a terrific guy in so many different aspects of life. I miss my big brother but know that he is at peace in a new realm.

My thanks to whoever took and/or chose this photo of Brian : ) I was remembering how easy it was to shop for Brian's birthday or Christmas gift. He always appreciated a new Mad Magazine or the updated Information Please World Almanac.
