Not sure what to say?

Brian gave me a job way back in 1986-87 at Wherehouse in Fresno on Blackstone and allowed me to participate in the buying process of the urban music and did it with no qualms. A quiet force in music and a phenomenal person. Period. Rest in peace Brian.

He was a great musician and a great man! God bless him in heaven!

The world lost a great musician, sweet soul, and wonderful human being. I am so sad. We will all try to carry a piece of you with us in all we do, Brian. The world will be a much better place if we carry your spirit with us. My heart breaks for Lori, Evan, and Maddie. Our love is with you all.

One can say 1,000 positive things about Brians musical skill and creativity. What always touched me, from college through JCO, was Brians self-effacing humor and soft touch as a human being. I always preferred that end of the trumpet section, right next to Brians control burn, because of his great playingbut, more importantly, the joy of being within earshot of his one liners that always made me laugh. He will always remain a shining light.

May the God of all comfort be with the family and given you peace.

awesome percussionist. great teacher. i have never forgot the priceless lessons you taught me so many years ago. my prayers to you and your family.

Brian- I remember when you played with Doug and Jeff back in the day. Such a sweet spirit. May you have many interesting travels on the other side of the veil.

The World lost a great musician and we lost a great cousin. May your journey be as great as the one you left behind. Love and Hugs, Linda

My sincere sympathy to Brian's family and the many friends who will feel the loss of his beautiful presence. He was a splendid person and soulful musician.
Counterpoint reflected his personal dignity. I am so saddened to learn of his death.
