Not sure what to say?

To all of Brian's family and friends,
I am deeply saddened to hear of your loss. I only knew Brian for a short period of time while he was a long-term sub at Waunakee high school. Brian was an extraordinary individual. He was the type of person I looked forward to seeing at work every day. He truly made people around him better for the way he lived his life. For that, his smile and outlook on life will live on through all of us.

Kind regards,

I was a student of Brian's at DeSmet and he is the reason I studied Spanish in college. Señor Hencel will always be remembered fondly by his students. He was one of the best teachers I've ever had, and I know he is in heaven riding a chopper with Evil Knievel and teaching all the angels the difference between Ser and Estar.

Dear Rome, Jane, Julia, Karen, Lori, and all of Brian's family & friends,
We are all so saddened to learn of Brian's illness and passing. It sounds like he was an incredible human being who will be missed by many many people. Some things are impossible to understand - all of you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Roman and Familly- I am so sorry for your loss. Brian was a great guy and I can only imagine how he will be missed.

Thinking of you all.

My deepest condolences to all of Brian's family and friends. He was such a great guy. I had the pleasure of meeting him through my sister Katie. He always made me laugh. May he rest in peace. He will be missed.

I was not very close to Brian in college as we had very different interests... but I was well aware of his popularity, kindness, and deep friendships with the friends he did have on the campus. I can also state that he was very genuine, very kind to me always, and had a deep love for life. With this, I pray that the loved ones he leaves behind take comfort in knowing that he touched the lives of many... even those of us who didn't necessarily sit with him in the dining room. Make the...

Rome & Jane, so very sorry to hear about Brian. I know this is a very difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with you both and with Julia.

Brian was so full of life and laughter. We should all try to live a life the way he did . No words for how sad this has made my children and I. You are all in our thoughts. Britta
