Praying for Brian's family in this difficult time. I was reminded of many fond memories of growing up near Brian. We enjoyed playing together, scouts, sports, and Physics lab partners! May the Lord give you strength each day. Brian was a great guy, always thoughtful and considerate.

In 1977 as a new kid in 7th grade Brian was the first person I met in Colchester, the first day of junior high soccer practice. It was through soccer and Brian's warm personality and welcome that I was able to find comfort in my new home in Vermont. Brian's gentle leadership and delivery is and was unmatched and that, combined with his appreciation for his fellow human beings, made him a very special person. A great loss no doubt to his dear family but also to everyone he touched along the way.

All the memories recorded here certainly demonstrate what a wonderful guy Brian was. There are not enough words to pay respects to Brian. All his MMU classmates are saddened that he is now gone from us. My condolences to his entire family and friends.

Mr. Hunt,
I'll always remember the excitement and enthusiasm from you when it came to soccer. From the moment I met you as a fourth grader you were larger than life and there has been no other teacher that has impacted me the way you did. It was your encouragement and passion that nurtured my love for soccer that I still have too this day. Every soccer game I watch brings back memories of your dedication and commitment to all of us who played for you. If not for your love and guidance...

In so many ways, Brian made the world a better place. His steady hand, his attention to safety and detail, his love of children and his community - all qualities that made him such a special person.
Your family doesn’t need me to tell you what an amazing person, teacher, and community member Brian was. He did indeed, make the world better and more beautiful. I pray that your memories and the love of the community sustain you through this incredibly difficult time.
