Not sure what to say?

To the Leighton Family,

I had the privilge of having Brian as one of my Visually Impaired students during the years he attended and graduated from Jenkins High School. Brian was always a positive, pleasant person to be around. It was never about 'him'--he cared about others--his family members and those around him. He took that philosophy into his adult life, choosing to help shine light and kindness on the lives of others, rather than focus on darkness. He worked hard in school...

Dear Leighton Family, I am sorry to hear about Brian's passing. In working with him and Valerie, and sometimes Barbara, as hard as it is to get through state red tape to get anything done, I appreciated the fact that he and the rest of the family were always so nice when I worked with trying to straighten out problems for them. I know God will be blessing Brian, welcoming him with open arms, and dissolving his disabilities and illness too. I have the whole family in my prayers. God bless you...

What a shining example Brian was to all persons with disabilities. Also, he was such an asset to the Savannah community. Sorry for your precious loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Andy and family, we are so sorry to hear of your loss. What a beautiful person he was. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. Pat, Gina, Arteah & Alice - GPA Credit Union

To the Leighton family,
On behalf of the staff at Savannah Association for the Blind, we would like to extend our condolences on Brian's passing. While I just met Brian last year at a state meeting, he had impressed me as being a strong, caring, compassionate person as he advocated for the rights of individuals with disabilities. He will be missed. Terri White, SAB Social Worker
