Not sure what to say?

It's been a year and your words still resound and in perfect pitch.

I want to express my sympathy in your loss of Jim. We were involved in a car club in High School with Buzz and Vic and a few others. Jim and I thumbed our way around the country in September of 1954. It was an awesome trip. When you read this please write me at this email address: [email protected]. I would like to get in touch with you. I missed the funeral because I was ill with pneumonia. I have been unable to find your phone number listed in the book.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Lutz family.I didn't know him personally but being an Oldsmobile and NHRA Drag Racing fan,he was a giant in these areas.God Speed Jim.

To the Lutz Family,

We are sorry to hear of Jim's passing. He always made it a point to stop by and say 'hi'. I'm going to miss seeing him and the dog "zoom" by the cabin in the golf cart on the way down to the lake.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

I was sorry to hear of your loss and I wanted you to know that all your classmates have you and your family in our prayers.
Your classmate, Linda Wait Quaas

As a lifelong Oldsmobile fan, I cannot express the excitement I felt upon seeing the Lutz & Lundberg "442 Much" for the first time. Although only 7 years old at the time, it left me with a lifetime of memories. Thanks Jim for being an original, who didn’t follow the same path as everyone else, but close his own way. You will always have a “Win Light” in my heart.

Mrs. Lutz, (ok, you've always been Mrs. Lutz, my teacher, to me.)
I am very sorry you have lost Jim. I will always remember his smile. My mom commented in her note posted that she can still hear "What a Wonderful Day Like To Day" - well, I too, can also hear that song in my head and see you all on the stage! You have always and continue to influence my teaching career. Peace and blessings to you. Please take care.

I knew Jim from North High. He and I went to Detroit together and to the "Indy" 500 in a group of 5. We met at the '54 class reunion and re-hashed old times.
My condolences to the family.

Dear Sarah, Rob, and Josh -

What a perfect memorial service you planned last night for Jim. He would have been so proud and so happy of you all!! And we all know he was definitely there with us and telling us so!!!

I have to say we had a wonderful time - we will miss Jim so very much - but to be a part of the celebration of his life and his accomplishments in the midst of all of his friends and his wonderful family was a joy for us and one we will always remember and...
