Not sure what to say?

Dear members of Brian's family: Brian was one of my nearest and dearest friends at KMUD, partly since we both arrived at the station about the same time. We also worked closely together on the re-organization of the music library, a massive and complicated project which Brian managed. I so cherished his sincerity, his down-to-earth friendliness with everyone he came in contact with, his sparkling sense of humor, and the huge love he had of so many different kinds of music, one of many things...

Brian I miss you everyday homie, thanks for being your wonderful self. I know that you are up in heaven with two harps, a mixer, and a boomin system. You will live forever in the memory of your many friends, and family. Thanks for being such a good friend, mentor, and DJ!

A fond goodbye to a very kind and positive person. Brian, it was a pleasure to have known you.

Brian, Your spirit will live in me forever! And I loved your free spirit! Like someone said at the Memorial " Everybody needs a Brian in their life"! So true.

My prayers go out to his Family and Friends, May God comfort your Souls and Minds and Hearts.

Blessings,Smiles and Reggie mon, Love Sir Carlos Leyva

Brian, I wish I had known all this about you before! The last time I saw you you offered to put me on the air on your radio station, and just that you had the power to do that floored me. If only we had had more time to collaborate and share our love of music.. I love and miss you Brian, always.

I love you, Brian, and will keep you in my heart forever.

Beautiful Brian, I hope you were watching us on Sunday, because that memorial was just your style, full of love and great hugs. I'll miss you forever!

My friend, Brian. I couldn't have grown up with a nicer person. I'll always remember you as the cheerful, highly intelligent, and musically inclined person that you are. A truly great friend that I'm honored to have known. You will be missed dearly!
