Brian Mazurek

MAZUREK

Brian Mazurek was born in Philadelphia to John and Patricia Mazurek on February 13, 1978. He was raised in the Wissinoming section of the city where he attended public schools then went on to graduate from New Hampshire College in 2000. As a young boy, he played baseball and soccer for the Wissinoming Boys Club. He learned how to play ice hockey at Rizzo Rink in South Philadelphia and later advanced to play for the Thunderbirds at Twin Rinks in Pennsauken.

He believed the best thing that ever happened to him was the birth of his daughter, Viktoria. He adored and loved her with all of his very big heart, and was so proud of her. They were very close and had a wonderful relationship. They loved spending time on the beach, fishing from Uncle Mike’s boat, and watching the sunset while sitting on the dock. He enjoyed golfing with his very good college friend, Todd and enjoyed the peace and quiet of Brigantine, fishing with his Dad, Uncle Mike, Uncle Robert and Harry.

Three years ago a new family member was added -- Olivia. Brian loved visiting, playing, and spending time with his niece. He showered her with gifts, treats and loved swimming with her. His pet name for her was “Liv Love”.

This past summer Brian made some delicious barbecue dishes and you would think he was the new Master Chef. He was always proud when people liked his cooking.

He worked for various companies as a Plumbing Contractor for over 12 years.

He had many friends and loved every one of them. He was loyal, genuine, and would do anything for anyone.

Brian Mazurek is survived by his smart, beautiful and funny daughter, Viktoria, 13 of Huntington Beach, CA; his parents, John and Patricia of Philadelphia; his sister Alison, brother-in-law John, and their daughter Olivia Percival of West Goshen. Aunts, uncles, cousins and a mass of friends.

He will be greatly missed.   Services and Interment are being held privately.
