Cremation Society of New Hampshire - Manchester Obituary

Manchester In an era where statues became controversial (for which he had a view), few others less need 1,000 pounds of bronze to be remembered. To have met him is to have remembered him. Brian Francis McCormick passed away on October 22, 2024, with his wife Diane Gregory McCormick, where she'd...

Not sure what to say?

PastedGraphic-1.tiff Me (Vito Colonna "66) and Bri "Pinto" the Voice of "Throat" or "Jonah and the Disciples",,,,,I liked "Wails" better ( Bert Donley knows what I mean)!. I believe this pic is when I visited from St.Pius in Connecticut to him at Milton. Always Happy together! I could never thank Brian enough for making the HERCULEAN effort, while he was in failing health, for a long overdue visit to drive down from Manchester to Queens NYC so that we could embrace joyfully in our...

We knew Brian through our son Matt´s friendship with his son Kevin. He was exceptionally vivacious, always with a smile and greeting that made you feel special. Brian took our son on a family road trip many years ago. We spoke about the amazing time they all had. I frequented Brian´s book store in the mall many times. Always loved catching up with him. I remember him dancing at our son´s Bar Mitzvah decades ago. Brian had a beautiful soul and he will always be remembered in our hearts.

I´m so sad to hear Brian´s passing. I remember Brian from some of his favorite things. Driving a checkered cab in Yonkers NY, (is where we first meet), Gun Hill Road, and I lived at that the Orchard in Contoocook, NH. I remember his laugh and smiling face. There´s a warm spot in my heart for him and he will be missed. Jonathan A. Postma (Jon Postma)

My condolences to Brian's family. Brian and I were classmates at St. Mary's. We knew each other and interacted but did not hang out together. He was always an up person... always smiling, often laughing. He attended the first get together I ever hosted up in Massachusetts somewhere along with John Feeney. Lots of memories came back at that lunch. Again, sorry for your loss. Brian was a great guy.

Brian was 2 years behind me I'm highschool, college and major seminary. Though I have often thought of him fondly over the years we never kept in touch. You couldn't help but like him. He was so full of life. I am so sad to hear of his passing. Rest in peace dear brother. Fr. Jin Atkins

I didn't know Brian - but after having read this - I definitely would have wanted to cross paths with him. Being a physical Book Lover along with my two adult daughters, we will honor Brian by handing out - yet another - book to share with someone - never to be seen again. Rest in the sweetest peace Brian. - Denise Athy - Randolph MA
