Brian was my roommate at Tabor. He was the best guy and the best roommate a student could've ever asked for. We laughed a lot! Sad to hear he's passed.

We were all very sad to hear of Brian's passing. Our fathers were life long friends and our families were very close when we were growing up. Brian was incredibly charismatic, and to this day the funniest person I have ever met. We all spent many evenings unable to breathe because he made us laugh so hard. I still smile whenever I think of him, and will forever cherish the memories of the time we spent together. The entire Sherman family sends our most sincere condolences to everyone in...

Brian McNamee was a dear friend of mine. We were best of friends at Villanova and in life after college. He was an usher at my wedding, and attended my kids' baptisms. Brian was like a brother to me: there to help, listen, and bring a smile to my face. We had such fun together. He must be making them laugh up in heaven. I shall miss him. God bless Brian and his family.

God Bless Brian.
I was saddened to hear of his passing.
The older people in the Gaeltacht in Ireland used to say it was a great blessing to die during Christmas week.
And I thought of T.S Eliot's short poem, Journey Of The Magi where the wise men seeking something beyond our world find our Redeemer in the form of a small child.
They are taken aback at the birth, because " it was a hard and bitter agony like death, our death."
Because in...

To Brian's Family and Friends, I , like many , got to know Brian from a distance at first, and then having reached out to him on some labor issues many many times, we got to be very good friends. Brian, first and foremost, was a man of his word. That's one of strongest compliments I can give someone. He was a very strong advocate for the hard working families of the City of Quincy and never hesitated to take on the big issues and follow through to its end.
Along the way, we got to be...

Brian will be missed by all who made contact with his wit and intelligence. Brian loved the life of being in politics but he really I believe loved being with people. I think of what a great City we have in Quincy and it is people like Brian that make it that way. I feel like I have lost a great friend. May he rest in peace.
