Not sure what to say?

I was a student at Florida School of the Arts and I enrolled in Humanities. I simply needed a credit to graduate and it was during the summer, so I thought it would be a breeze. Little did I know, I was about to receive some of my most enriching lessons. From that summer on, I became fascinated and inspired by Renaissance art. It became my dream to visit Italy, and this past winter, I finally did. I will always remember Mr. Michaels, and I will always remember that summer.
My condolences...

Just a note to express my sympathy in the loss of your husband and my friend Brian. He was my next door neighbor for many years. Please pass my sympathy to all the family.

Brian Michaels is my father, a wonderful man with a wonderful heart. I will miss him greatly! - Lynne Michaels Middleton

Dear Nora:

Kristen and I, along with the entire Florida Monthly magazine staff, are deeply saddened to learn of Brian's passing. His genealogy contributions to the magazine over 2 decades were priceless. His every call or visit was filled with humor and always bright spots for us. Florida has lost one of her finest Gentlemen. Our hearts and prayers are with you.

Brian was very good to me when I came to teach with him in at SJRCC. He helped make my first year in the profession a joy.

Brian was a professional colleague. We shared positions on the faculty at The Bolles School. I shared his interest in the history of the River and I respected his work. I am sad that he is gone.

Dear Nora, Sarah Elizabeth, Caroline Lynne and family,

Hearing about this has shocked and saddened my family and me tremendously. We hurt for you as our sympathetic hearts go out to you.

The last time I saw Brian was at Andrea's Book Store. We had a nice chat and I thought he was better.

We treasure an autographed copy of THE RIVER FLOWS NORTH.

He was one fine, smart, clever and kind man. The love and adoration he had for his family was obvious throughout...
