I took several of Fr. Mullady's systematics classes when he taught at St. Mary's Seminary in Houston (through University of St. Thomas) including a special topics seminar on the Disputed Questions on the Virtues of St. Thomas Aquinas. Fr. Mullady was an fine professor, rigorous and humorous (especially his anecdotes); a beacon in the mid-late 1980's seminary environment. Lux perpetua luceat ei.

I was blessed to have Fr. Mullady at Holy Apostles Seminary in the late 90s, he was a true son of St. Dominic, and God help the man who went against St. Thomas! In addition to being a great teacher, he had a great love for the liturgy, promoting Gregorian and Dominican chant at our seminary at a time when this was frowned upon in most other US seminaries. Finally, he was also a big fan of Bugs Bunny cartoons and movies from the Golden age of Hollywood. So I'm grateful that he introduced me...
