Brian K. Murphy Sr.

I met Brian in May 1966, as we were both checking in at Naval Communication Station, Cheltenham, Maryland. We could not have had anymore lifestyle differences if we had tried. Brian had just returned from serving on a ship in SE Asia where he had been to the Philippines, Gulf of Tonkin, Hong Kong plus he had been born and raised in Brooklyn. As for me, I had just graduated from recruit training the previous August and CT training school 2 weeks before we met. I was an 18 year old country...

My condolences to the family I worked with him many years ago and ran into him now and then he was a great person and loved his family very much.

As kids we grew up together in Brooklyn. Brian was the type of friend that one always remembers . He was truly a great guy respected and admired by all. The memories will always be there. So long Brian. Rest In Peace.

The sheriff was one of the good guys, he will surely be missed, my condolences to his family, always keep him in your heart
