Throughout my years growing up in Puunui, I remember Uncle Brian as a strong, solid presence. He was always willing to help. I particularly remember that when I was a sophomore at Punahou, I was really stymied in trying to solve a trigonometric problem. He didn´t solve it for me but helped me to figure out how to solve it. He was just a great uncle and person!
