In my hour of darkness,
In my time of need,
Oh Lord, grant me vision

I knew Brian through his brother Kevin. I was browsing old New Jersey HS basketball information online and came upon Brian's obituary. More than anything about Brian, I remember his great sense of humor and his ability to make those around him laugh.
I read the obituary 30 minutes ago and I have not stopped weeping since.
God Bless the entire O'Connor family. My prayers are with you.

Brian was a great ball player at at St. Joe's. It does not suprise me to discover Brian went on to a successful law practice. He always had wisdom and intellegence.

To the O'Connor Family:
My deepest condolensces. As a fellow trial lawyer, I was friendly with Brian and I was very shocked and saddened by his passing. I don't believe I ever met any of you, but Brian was always great to talk to. My prayers and good wishes are with you all!

To all the O'Connor family, I am sorry for your loss. I didn't know Brian personally, but was friendly with Gerri years ago. I am also the daughter of Ann & Larry Ryan, friends of Brian's parents. I hope you find comfort and strength with the outpouring of love from family and friends during this difficult time and that all the great memories from the past will sustain you, especially Joanne and children. I will keep all of you in my prayers.

Very saddened to hear of Brian's passing. Although we haven't kept in touch, we were friends at St. Joe's HS in Metuchen. He was one of the most interesting and vibrant kids in our class of illustriuous characters. He was a great athlete too, on the basketball court and the track. I'll always remember Brian poking fun at me as I panted across the finish line in one particular X-Country race. Of course he had finished 10 minutes ahead of me and had good reason to have a hearty laugh. His...

Dear Joanne, Michaela, Liam & Olivia:
My heart is broken for you Joanne & the kids.
Brian had a great Irish wit and he could put on the best Irish brogue - which ALWAYS put a smile on my face.
May God give you strength at this sorrowful time -- God Bless
