Not sure what to say?

I taught School with Brian! A good teacher and friend!

Mrs. O´Connell, My sincere condolences. I remember you brought Brian to our 1st grade class at Arleta. I drove by the school recently and thought of you. When I looked to see if you were on Facebook I came across Brian´s obituary. I remember Susan came to our class too. Romm 34 Arleta, 1966. I just retired from a career teaching high school for PPS at Lincoln. I´ll drop my email in the event you see this. Sincerely, Dr. Timm Goldhammer [email protected]

Although I've not known Brian personally, his mother, Dolores was my mentor and friend. I'd like to express my deep gratitude and admiration for all they've done to support education and teaching.

He was a memorable teacher. Never for him, he taught my sibling from the oldest to the youngest of 4 and no one of us will ever forget him . He made an impact on us all.

Mr. O'Connell was my teacher in more ways than one. He taught me math, let me help out in his class and taught me it was okay to shine as a star student. I was thinking about him just this morning and was surprised to find he has passed. Everyone in my class loved him. He will always be remembered for the wonderful teacher that he was.

Brian was my 2nd grade teacher in 2003 & I am just now finding the news of his passing. I was thinking back on the time he stopped what the whole class was doing to make sure we could figure out who was writing mean things about me on the bathroom stalls... I did it, i wanted to see who would care about me and when i realized how far he was willing to take the investigation i started crying lol, and the investigation ceased. I wanted to see if somehow i could send him a thanks, but was...

Mr O'Connell was my 2nd grade teacher, 2003ish id say. Good man and a good teacher. My thoughts are with his family and in his memory.

I'm so sorry to hear and then see this lovely write up about Brian. I met Brian Freshman year at La Salle High School where I know Brian attended only the first year. However over the years Brian and I would run into each other locally and we would pick up where we left off. Brian and I shared a love of cars and I remember when his Mom bought a new 1985 or 86 Turbo T-Bird, silver I believe and he brought it over to show me. That car was FAST!!!! Later Brian got into other rarer older luxury...

Brian was a dear heart and shining light to all those who knew him. I'm so sorry to hear of his sudden passing. Much love to his entire family, especially Dolores. My thoughts are with you.
