Dear Brian, Tomorrow will be fifteen years since you found comfort in the arms of God. I still can see your face as you stood on the sidewalk wearing your black Delta Zeta shirt and we talked. Know you are missed and loved.

"O Beauty Ever Ancient, Oh Beauty Ever New"...this is one of my favorite songs sung by the St. Louis Jesuits on their COMING HOME CD. Brian was swept up and taken home by the Beautiful One 12 years ago. During our busy and hectic lives, these many years, there are days that Brian still remains with us when I drive to St. Margaret Mary Church and School to drop off items in the offices. He always had something funny to say as he jumped out of our car to begin his day. We will celebrate Brian...

Dear Olvera Family, February 9th will soon come and go but Brian and his energy will remain. Jan and I went to San Francisco several weeks ago to see Mark at CAL. We visited the old adobe Mission in SF and walked around the cemetery. Those historical cemeteries are so peaceful and I enjoy walking through them and reading the grave stones. During my time as a Salesian Brother at Saint John Bosco High School, I had the opportunity to know Brian, as well as his brothers Tommy and Matthew. I recently found out of Brian's passing and the sadness felt was deep. Brian always had a smile and something positive to say.
Olvera family: My prayers and thoughts are with you during this time. From personal experience, I know how difficult this time of the year can be--be assured you are not alone.
Tommy and Matthew: don't lose...

Dear Olvera Family,
I know the following months will be difficult for you. Brian's birthday was on 11-14 - I did not forget. What can be said at this time? Just wanted you to know we were thinking about Brian and his family.

Good morning. Do not know why I was drawn this day to write again in Brian's guest book. I am preparing for an Estate Yard Sale in October. I am cleaning out my closets --at the time of my passing away, I do not want my sons left with the collections I have made over these past 30 years. At first I felt like I was throwing out/giving away memories! No, that is not how it is--it is time to make room for new memories. Brian, your memory is as fresh as ever. Some of the people Brian knew I saw...
