Not sure what to say?

I still think of Brian often. Recently, I lost my husband unexpectedly and I understand the joy and pain that come with our memories. I remember many things about Brian. One instance was when we stopped to visit the goats at one of his residences. Another time, he gave my son a book about basketball knowing that he loved the sport. There are so many kindnesses that I witnessed. He was a marvelous teacher and friend. RIP. Danielle Knight

It's nearly 14 years later and Brian's memory is still as strong as ever. His laughter and the joy he brought to all of his colleagues at Brockton High are so missed. Keeping good thoughts for all of his friends and family - may his memory be a blessing.

Dear Pendergast Family,
We are so sorry to hear about Brian's passing. On a recent trip to Cali I learned the news. Brian was a roommate his first year in Colombia and he was a great colleague and a memorable person. Our deepest sympathies.

To the Pendergast family, I am sorry for your loss. I met Brian only a couple of times, and in each meeting he was gracious and wanted to be helpful. He spoke of his passion- the kids he taught- each time with a huge smile- he said he loved his career and said he was very satisfied and happy.

Tom and family,
I just learned of Brian's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time! May God's Love comfort you all.

To the Pendergast Family,
Mr. P ( as we called him ) was a very caring teacher. He took the time to understand his students. He was nice to us but at the same time he knew how to teach us. He will be greatly missed and i am so sad, and sorry for what has happened...
usted siempre estará en nuestros corazones...

Mr. Pendergast I will miss you soo much you are one of the best teachers i have every had i have had you since freshman year and i was supposed to have had you again next yea for senior year i will never forget the fun times we had in class especially the stories about mr. gato! To the Family: Sorry about the lost! he will be missed and alwaysz remembered.

Dear Pendergast Family,
Brian was always my best friend. For many years we shared everything and we grew as adults together supporting each other and knowing that there was always something to smile about. In Colombia, we spent most of our time trying to find our Ithaca. He will always be in my hearth, mi Briancito.

Lynn and Family,

My thoughts are with all of you at this time of great sorrow. Please know that I am thinking of you and your family.

Sincerely,

Jim Kelley
