Your illness and passing sadden me. You were a wonderful man, and I will always be grateful for your able representation when I found myself entangled in a distressing lawsuit. You were the consummate professional and gentleman, a star whose pleasant demeanor belied a fine intelligence, never flaunted.

Brian and I started our first day of work together after both completing clerkships. I did not get to know him that well as I only stayed at the firm for about 3 years, but I know he was very well respected and well liked, and was always very pleasant to me.
