To the Rooney Family,
A great man has left us. I was his patient since his internship in 1966.
I cried when he retired. My whole family came to him for his "miracle" shot and we knew within 24 hrs. we would be better. May he RIP. Linda Driscoll.

Dear Nancy & Family,
The Gibbons Family sends their prayers and condolences during this difficult time. Brian will always be close in our hearts for he was there when our Mom needed support. He was always there with his quick wit and humor. I remember him calling my younger brothers "Weasel" which was his term of endearment for the younger boy cousins. We will miss him. Our prayers are with your family.

My late brother, Chris Duffy, and I were only two of many, many first cousins spawned by the Rooney clan, who originally lived on W. 87th Street. There were not only lots of Rooneys in our generation, but also Ripton, Duffy and McNearny. I always felt close to Brian and made it a point to visit him and Nancy whenever I was back in the Cleveland area. The six Rooney brothers and doctors from Olmstead Falls were pointed to with pride by all of us. We still have Danny from this wonderful family....

Dear Family of Dr. Rooney, I am so sorry for your loss. Dr. Rooney was a very good man. He has been my Dr. since I was 9 and I am now 44 and have alot of very fond memories of him at his office. Just seeing his picture on here he has not changed 1 bit. he always had something funny to say and make people smile. You all are in my thoughts and prayers.

How well I remember Brian. He was our quarterback when I played for the Bulldogs. And he always had that funny, square-toed shoe tip with him in case we had to kick a field goal or an extra point.
Rest in peace Brian and may God grant His peace unto all those he left behind.

Nancy, Erin,Kerry & Tracey,
Brian's picture truly captured his essence. That smile that could light up
a room and make you feel so welcome.
Whenever we saw pictures of the family
and his playfulness with the little
boys, we knew why everyone, including
his many patients loved him.
We're sorry for your loss.
