Not sure what to say?

I’m thankful for another opportunity to remember Brian, my student at Menlo Park so long ago. He always had a smile for us and was such a nice addition to the classroom. I know his family must be so proud to read the glowing words of praise for him, and I’m glad I had a small part in his growing up to be such a fine person everyone loved. P.S. I remember Ronnie Reed, too!

I helped you the first week at the Oregonian, you’ve always been a great guy with a great smile on your face.
You are going to be missed!

On behalf of Friends of Sandy Pool, we all extend our sadness at the loss of a wonderful man, and friend to all who used the Sandy swimming pool. He had been our dedicated maintainance man for a period of time that was cut short by his untimely death. We all love and miss him and send our condolences to his family. Sincerely, Dottie Generaux, representing FOSP.

Brian and I worked together for many years at the Oregonian. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

I'm so sorry to hear this news. Please except my prayers. I have a lot of fond memories of growing up with Brian.
God Bless

Becky, Luke & Marie, my heart goes out to all of you. Brian was such an amazing person. He had my full respect. I am so glad he became part of our extended family, and I am so happy that he will live on through his two beautiful (and equally amazing children) as well as all of us who knew him.

To the entire Schmitz family - please accept our thoughts and prayers. Our entire family was shocked to learn of Brian's passing - and very saddened by it. While years have gone by since our last communication - so many fond memories have come to mind since learning of Brian's death. Know that the Stupur family - Danette, Danny and Pat are thinking of you during this difficult time. God bless.

Brian was my last boss at the Oregonian. He was always fair with me and I enjoyed my time working with him. I am truly sorry for your loss.He always called me Foot and always asked me how I was doing. He was one of a few that I truly missed being around after I left the Oregonian. He will be missed.
