Not sure what to say?

I will dearly remember my good friend Brian, when I first moved to the Southern Utah area when I was in my early teens, I knew nobody, I felt alone, and being a shy, unsure, 12 year old boy, I was not going to be an outgoing person. My first day on the school bus, Brian Scott came right up to me and sat with me. From that day on we sat together every day on the bus and we forged a bonding friendship that has lasted many year's. He protected me in those vital years from bullies and harassment...

Randy, I came by on Saturday but was reminded that it was your sons funeral day. I just read your sons obituary as well as watched the news report on his remarkable young life. I almost lost a son and did loose my brother in law to leukemia. My prayers are with you and your family. I am pained by your loss, but know there will be angels to buy you up through this most difficult time. Best to you....

Our family sends our love and prayers to you and your family! Brian was a wonderful friend to our sons Joshua and Michael through the years! Love the Averett Family: Ashley,Michelle,Maggie,Joshua,And Michael Averett

Dear Scott family,
An awesome memory I have of Brian was when I was younger at a father's and son's camp out, we were hiking down the river. My Dad and Brian were helping me get through the tough spots across the river. If I knew I couldn't swim in a certain spot Brian would carry me and hand me off to my Dad. He did it with a smile over and over again. Great example of how I want to be...Thanks Brian!

I didn't know Brian on a personal level, but I remember seeing him around. He was always a friend to everyone and had a smile for every single person he crossed paths with. He was such an amazing athlete and brought pride to our school and community, an inspirational young man that will greatly missed. I'm sending love and prayers to his family and friends.

To the Scott Family. We do not know each other, but my heart goes out to each of you. Your son and brother Brian reminds me of my son who passed away 7 years ago to Leukemia. He was only 23 and was also a wonderful student, athlete and all around wonderful person. My wife and I send our kindest regards and we are so grateful for the Saviors love and atonement. You will find yourself thinking of Brain and smiles will come to you.

So sorry for the loss of your son Brian. He truely lived his life to the fullest. He has had so many great accomplishments for such a young man. He has been such a great example for all, especially the youth. What a wonderful son you have raised. How proud you must be of him.
I pray your family will receive comfort and love you deserve for having him in your life. I know you have one of the greatest angels watching over you now.

Will miss this amazing young man. I know The Lord will bless your family with peace and comfort . Knowing that one day you will all be together again forever. Thank heavens for the gospel and the knowledge it gives us of life everlasting .
