Not sure what to say?

Brian touched a lot of lives with his eager smile and sense of humor. While I didn't know him well, I so enjoyed him at the Post Office. He was indeed, as someone else said, "a burst of brilliant energy" and sunshine on cloudy days. He brightened more lives than I think he ever knew. Thank you, Brian.

Brian, you were a burst of brilliant energy. Energy changes forms but it never dies. Because you were, you will always be; past is eternal. The present is fleeting. The future, inevitable. Carry your charge for life with you -wherever you journey to. Surprise your loved ones in their dreams, from time-to-time, it will surely brighten their days as your smile had. And thank you, for being one of the good guys in a complicated world.

My deepest Condolences to the family and Mrs. Shields! This is unexpected for me to hear and I am so sad. I know Brian loved to fish so I hope he is in heaven fishing. He was super kind and nice at the post office every time I went in there. He will be missed and I will say a prayer for him and the family ! one never knows when it's your time to go so Be KIND to ONE Another... God Bless !

We are so saddened by Brian's passing. He always had a smile for everyone and was a bright light in our lives here in Hailey. He will be missed.

Brian's family, please accept my deepest sympathy on the loss of your brother, husband, and uncle. Brian and I were friends in high school and I spent some time at his house. I remember how fun it was to be there among his big family. I will always remember Brian's smile and his friendship. I will be thinking of you all and keeping you in my prayers.

Our deepest sympathy to the Shields Family on the loss of your husband, brother, and uncle. Thoughts and prayers are with you during this sad time. Pete and Brenda (Hague) Evangeliste
