Not sure what to say?

I found out today you passed, you were one of my hero's, right there with the likes of Bob Hoover and others. Wish I could have meet you. Maybe on the other side I will. Rest easy, you deserve it.

One heck of a life! Salute to you Maj. SHUL

Met Major Shul in 2010 by his showroom. Helped me with my first book. When you read his bio, his feats, his near death experience, and subsequent exploits, you are not human if tears aren't generated. God Bless you, Brian. Have interviewed or met over 20K Vets- he is an American legend. www.johnsiegfried.com

So sorry to learn this. I served with Brian from 1983-1989 as an Air Traffic Controller at Beale. My memories of Brian were always fond and as he was the SR-71 liaison to the ATC division we had lots of opportunities to speak to and engage with him in discussions. I best remember him in that light as the epitome of a great story teller and that will always color my fond memories of time served together. RIP and God speed Brian. May you always Fly Higher and Faster than all the rest, even the...

I knew Brian at the Lead In Fighter Training (LIFT) squadron in Holloman AFB in the early 1980s. He was a friend and fine man and fellow Vietnam vet. RIP.

Brian Shul´s inurnment with full military honors was yesterday at Arlington National Cemetery. Attended only by very close friends and family. We miss him dearly and will always remember his contagious laughter

I am a retired Army Nurse who took care of Brian when he was hospitalized with severe burns in 1974 at the Institute of Surgical Research in San Antonio, TX. I experienced him as a uniquely gifted man in his recovery "mission". I spent many evenings after my 3-11 pm shift sitting with Brian discussing what is really important in life. He taught me a lot about cherishing life. I feel blessed to have known him and will never forget his loving spirit.

Call sign Pickle wishes you a safe journey over the endless clouds.
