Not sure what to say?

The older I get, the faster time goes by. I see that with every passing day. I miss you, and our talks before and after mass. Even when I was not being the lector. I remember when you said to me, "your already a saint". If only this were true. Pray for me. Intercede for me. Help me to become the man you knew I could be. I ask this in the name of the Lord, Jesus Christ. Amen

It's hard to believe it's been 11 years. It was 17 years ago when you married my wife and I at St. Edith Stein Parish. You always made me feel close to GOD. I miss our talks before Mass. You were a loss to the physical work. I hope you have found the peace of Christ. Please help guild me from above.

I never felt closer to God than in Fr. Brian's presence. He was truly one of God's disciples. You will always be in my prayers.

To Father Brian's Family I first met Seminarian Brian Smith at Holy Rosary in Lawrence. He served under Fr. Roonan. I was one of the 2 new Adult Altar Servers. Fr. Brian spent time teaching us the ropes as well as sharing his faith. I always knew he'd be a special priest hoped he'd be assigned to our parish at some point. The highlight was attending his ordination and in his graduating class were Frs. Burton and Armano, local boys from Haverhill and Lawrence, it was quite a special day. Even...

Shortly after moving to Brockton, I discovered the best thing about my new parish, Father Brian. He was always there for me and all of us. He was such a good and kind man. Church wasn't the same when he left. I know he is happy and healthy in heaven.

I have many fond memories of Fr. Brian speaking during Mass at St. Edith Stein Parish. He would make sure he had everyone's attention by repeating what he said and expecting a loud response from all. There was no doubt that we were listening and he was getting his message across. May you rest in peace Fr. Brian. You were one of the best!

Brian loved his service as a priest and his friendship has been a blessing in my life. My prayers for the Smith family and friends of Brian. "Peace, kid!" I'll miss hearing that but it echos in my heart.

God must've needed him to liven up Heaven a bit.

It was an honor to know such a sincere, holy and humble man who lived the epitome of what spirituality means. Fr.Brian is what Jesus exemplified in terms of His humanity and regard for all who had the pleasure of meeting him. Rest in peace Brian you have touched the heart and souls of those who knew you.
