Not sure what to say?

My name is Chuck Olson, i went looking for my old friend Whitey . I didn't think for a minute I'd find him gone....
Wow. Miss ya Whitey! Great man you were. Be seeing you soon. Your old friend Chuck.

Bill Cameron's entry did a very good job of summing up the same Brian 'Whitey' Stender I knew. When I needed a place to stay, his home was open. When I needed someone to talk to he was there. When I felt down and out, he always had kind, hopeful words to counter the darkness. He loved his family, his friends, and life - he loved big. He enjoyed the simple things to the fullest. Bill and I were talking about him the week before he passed. He would have got a call over the Holidays, or at least...

Whitey was one of the best friends I ever had. I can't count the number of times he fixed me breakfast in his home & nobody on the planet could whip up a better cup of coffee. I remember once when we were in church and I was cold, Whitey spent 20 bucks on a sweat shirt for me. That was just typical of him. Whitey always dreamed big, and was ever optimistic. He didn't let worries get him down, always trusting in the Lord to take care of him and his family. We spent many hours just talking, and...

Whitie was definitely full of hope. He always had a plan, an idea, a good word, full of life, a smile on his face and a laugh ready for action. He was a joy to be around. He knew how to make a person fell comfortable just by being himself. We have large shoes to fill to carry on in Whities place. God Bless Us All! And God Bless you Whitie! Amen.

The thing I remember most of Whitey was his enthusiasim for life. No matter what the situation, he was always looking for something good in it. I clearly remember him from my wedding and for the first time he experienced pork and sauerkraut at my home. I've never seen anyone enjoy it so much. Thanks for being my friend. Miss you!!!Chuck Schwab
