He was a wonderful friend and colleague.

Brian was a dear friend. I think of him every year around his birthday and mourn his death. I still can't believe it, such a horrible loss, makes me sick.

I worked with Brian at WREG-TV from 1981-84. I was the 10PM Producer. My son and I also visited the house he had with Sandra and Sydney when we both moved to Detroit... to work at different TV stations. Brian was the smart one who moved back to Memphis. Over the years, I lost touch with him and other friends in Memphis. Just found out he died last night when I had a free night to surf the web and look for old friends. I am so shocked and so sad. I had the pleasure of working with Brian when both he and I were relatively new to WREG-TV, Channel 3, as weather anchors. He was a gentleman's gentleman. He was a beautiful spirit and joy to know. He was adored by many with an easy smile that will be missed. My condolences to his family. Shall he rest in peace.
