THOMAS, Brian David, 41, of Mechanicsville, Va., went home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 29, 2009. He is survived by his wife, Michelle Clark Thomas; and his beloved children, Cassidy Thomas, Jeremy Thomas, Shelby Thomas and Will Thomas; his parents, Floyd and Gayle Thomas; brother, Matthew Thomas and wife, Joy; sister, Nicole Thomas Holubik of Ruston, La.; nieces and nephews, Justan McKinney, Nicole Raine Holubik, Lillian Holubik, Amber Thomas and Clay Thomas; plus a host of other relatives and friends in Virginia and Louisiana, whom he loved dearly. He loved fishing and other sports, especially LSU. Bennett Funeral Home of Mechanicsville is in charge of arrangements. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 2, 2009, at 1 p.m. at Emmanuel Tabernacle Assembly of God in Mechanicsville, where friends may gather beginning at 11 a.m. Interment in Hanover Memorial Park.
