Sorry to hear of Brian's passing as he was a good man. We first crossed paths years ago in the world of high school officiating and athletics. As Athletic Director of Hartford High School, Brian always greeted us officials at the door with a smile. He encouraged each student to put their best foot forward and expected the same of all coaches and officials. I enjoyed my many visits to Hartford High School because of Brian.

Brian Trottier was a man of many talents and gifts. God blessed him richly but I believe the he was most proud of his family, his daughters, spouses and grandsons. He was also devoted to helping people prosper from his students, his teams and coaches and his many friends. Brian was always honest, fair and willing to go extra steps if it would mean you could be more successful. There are many of us who admire his life and accomplishments.
