Not sure what to say?

To the Veenhuis Family,
I had the fortune to speak with Brian through an email from HSClassmates back in July 06' after 31 years. What a moment! I hope that the peace and love of our Lord are with you.

My deepest sympathy to the entire Veenhuis family. I fondly remember Brian as a devoted teacher and compassionate friend.

My deepest sympathies to Brian's family. I never met any of you, but Brian spoke of you always. He was an important teacher to me in high school, influential to my thinking process & a confidant after I'd graduated. He was a rare & special man. He truly cared about what he was doing & cared even more what his students were doing. I'll always remember him.

BRIAN VEENHUIS WAS ONE OF MY ALL TIME FAVORITE TEACHERS. HE WILL BE GREATLY MISSED. JEANNE(SNY) NUNNEMAKER, CLASS OF 1977

Dear Mrs. Veenhuis, Erik, and Ethan,

Your husband and dad was a mentor and a friend, first inspiring a passion for history at Flint Northern that I continue to pursue twenty-five years later. His reaction this summer upon learning I was headed to to grad school was classic Brian: "Wowsa! Ain't life fun?" He will always, always remain dear to me. His passing is a tremendous loss. Please accept my deepest sympathy.

Jeanette and family, I just heard about Brians passing, and am so sorry. He was an amazing man and teacher who always made at least one class fun. from the first meeting in school, thru your wedding and mine, and beyond, he was allways an experience to be around. Take comfort in that and every other experience the two of you shared. my deepest sympathies at this time of sadness.

My deepest sympathy to you on the passing of your husband and father

Dear Jeanette, Erik and Ethan

I am so sorry for your loss and my sympathy and prayers are with you. Brian was a great person and a great teacher. I will always remember him.

With deepest sympathy
