Not sure what to say?

I had the honor of working alongside Brian during the Centennial incorporation campaign and also as a founding council member of the city itself. It was Brian’s genuine heart of service to others that inspired the lives of countless people and causes. His insight, kindness and selflessness are a credit to his parents and the worlds he touched.

Brian's legacy will be enduring, as he was any time he was in the room with others. I've had the privilege of working with Brian when he was President of the South Metro Chamber, then as the head of the Office of Economic Development and International Trade, and then, as President/CEO of the Denver Botanic Gardens. I have so many memories of Brian laughing, leading, encouraging, championing, and being 110% present at every meeting. He was larger than life and always - always! - a visionary...

During the formative years of the South Metro Chamber I was on the board and had the opportunity to work with Brian on many of his creative projects. He was an intelligent and talented leader that made a positive impact on everything that he did. He will be missed by all of the many people that knew and worked with him. Rest in peace my friend. Brian had a way of making one feel like they were the only one in the room. His attention to giving compliments came from his heart. His spirit is in the works he accomplished and will live forever. Thank you for all the moments I had with you. Sandy

Having served under Brian’s leadership on the South Metro Chamber Board during the days when the City of Centennial was created then having the great opportunity to work along side him as the insurance broker for DBG and figure out how to insure all the new and exciting changes at DBG, I can say I have never met anyone as talented, as passionate and gifted as Brian. When he walked in the room his smile and energy filled the room and you were motivated to get down to work. He had a way of...

We love you, Brian.

As a long term volunteer at the Denver Botanic Gardens, I spoke with Brian on many occasions. He could frequently be seen walking the paths, speaking to staff and volunteers. It was always an uplifting experience because it was obvious how much Brian loved what he was doing and appreciated those of us who were part of his journey.

Brian was truly a man for all seasons, and had he lived for many more years it still wouldn’t have been enough for those of us who found him to be a...

Knowing you was such an Honor! Thank you for all you did for our community in the most genuine way! You changed and affected many lives now, and in the future. You will be greatly missed! Peace be with you!

I met Brian about 15 years ago through the South Denver Metro Chamber. Upon meeting him, I instantly knew that there was something special about him. Yes, he dramatically changed the Denver Botanical Gardens. More importantly, he changed people's lives. He changed mine. Brian exemplified leadership and character. Whenever I had the opportunity to listen to him speak, I arrived early, took a fresh notepad, and sat right up front. I didn't want to miss anything. Now I will. I will miss Brian Vogt.
