Not sure what to say?

Mr. Waltz was one of the best teachers and coaches I've ever had.
He even attended my Eagle Scout presentation when I was 16. He was a great mentor and role model, and he will be missed dearly by me and many others whose lives he enhanced greatly!

My condolences to his family, and sister Diane. They were classmates of mine in Rodney B Wilson High School in St. Johns, Mi.
Surely, he will be missed by many.

What did he always say? "I don't get mad. I get even." Incredible teacher with wonderful sense of humor.. taught us Vis girls not to take ourselves too seriously while still pushing us to be the best students we could be!

Mr. Waltz was an excellent honors geometry teacher who showed me abilities I did not think I had. He will be greatly missed. I am honored to be a student of his.

I had the honor of teaching with Brian at Vis. We connected at lunch and scoring basketball games together. I loved hearing about his life growing up, his children, and his unique perceptions of the world. He is an incredible educator and colleague. My prayers are with Brian and his family.

As my geometry teacher at Visitation, Mr. Waltz showed passion for his field as well as passion for his students' development. His patience, kindness, and sense of humor will never be forgotten. Rest in peace, Mr. Waltz.

Brian was always so friendly, humble and chill when I served as a substitute teacher at Visitation. While I didn't visit much with him, I recall very clearly his smile and warmth, and the appreciation he had for the subs who filled in for him. Rest in peace.

Dear Barb and family, I taught across the hall from Brian at Visitation for many years. When I first started he popped in to check in on how things were going. We chatted about everything from golf to AP classes to coaching. He always beamed when he talked about his kids and grandchildren. I loved his humor and you knew he really cared about his students and those with whom he worked. I am lucky to be one of those people. My prayers are with you all. He will be missed.

Brian was a great colleague and such a sweet man. I enjoyed getting to know him at Visitation. I ran into him in the staff lounge on our prep as he was enjoying his Diet Coke :) He'll be missed. My heart & prayers to all those who mourn him.
