Not sure what to say?

It was about this time last spring/summer. I was mowing my mom's lawn. Startled for a minute, I turned to look whose voice called my name. It was Brian, hollering over his dad's fence to get my attention.
We started with small talk, but Brian jumped to asking how I was doing. He had heard that my wife, Dawn, had passed away the summer before and was wondering how I was holding up. Sincere, he really cared to know the answer. We talked for what seemed like an hour, mostly me...

To Trina and family,

I am so sorry to learn of Brian's passing (and Sharon’s). It seems like only yesterday that your mom was pleading with Brian to stop teasing his little sister and her friend. We haven’t seen each other in a long time, but I will always remember feeling like a part of the family whether playing kickball at Washington playground, watching the Appleton Foxes play baseball, or collecting hickory nuts in Pierce park. I have thought of you often over the years and...

To Brian’s sisters, father, family and friends I am sincerely sorry for your loss. I had the pleasure of having Brian as a friend and classmate in grade school. I only ran into Brian once as an adult but in the almost 40 years that have gone by my memories of him have followed me closely. I was lucky to of called him my friend and we were fortunate to have had wonderful classmates and teachers that were our family during the school years. We both got our first ten speeds about the same time,...

The Fischer family is very sad about the passing of Brian! I know that his Mom was there with open arms to welcome him!

I have such wonderful memories of Brian - all through high school and after. He was a great man. RIP, my friend.

I am so sorry for your families loss. Brian and I went to Xavier and he was good friends with my sister, Cori (Vanderloop) Gendron, and I got to work with Brian at McDonalds. He always made me laugh.

Trina and Tricia,
May God comfort you during your time of need. Brian was a fun-loving brother to you.

“I know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories.” —Leo Buscaglia

Keep Brian's memory alive by remembering his sense of humor.
