The loss of a child is the biggest sorrow any parent can feel....I pray that the Lord gives Owen's family the strength to carry on without him.

The Three Amigos

We were shocked and saddened to hear of Owen's passing. We lost track of Owen sometime after the days of the "Three Amigos" at Montessori, but it is obvious from the other memories here that his humor continued unabated. Our sincere condolences to his family and friends.

Dear Brian, Lisa &Brandy, I am so sorry for the loss of your son & nephew. I want to thank you for sharing a bit of Owen with all of us who did not have the honor of knowing him personally. We are better for it. I hope you can take some comfort in knowing many people are wrapping you in love with thoughts & prayers.

Owen always had a look on his face that said he was up to something, but it was really his delight with life that lit it up. He made me laugh, and he was wicked smart.
My condolences to his family and friends.

Owen was funny. He made me laugh. I went on lots of field trips with his class at the middle school and I truly enjoyed him. When I would search a crowd for my son Alex, my eyes always found Owen first because they both had the blondish long hair flipped out on the sides, but Owen was taller, much easier to spot. He frequently pointed me in the right direction. I will always smile when I remember Owen. Our community has lost a pretty cool kid. I am so very, very sad for your family. ...
