Ann and Bill,
I am sorry to have just learned about Brie's death. Every parent grieves with you knowing there is no way to fill the void of losing a child of any age. My heart goes out to you all.

I'm so sorry to hear about your daughter. It's difficult to find the words that might provide some comfort, I just hope that the outpouring of support from the many people your daughter and your family touched help you all through this difficult time. While so many live life waiting for inspiration, your daughter's life was inspiration, making each day in her life more meaningful and inspiring others to live meaningful lives. I hope you can find comfort in all that she inspired.

My heart goes out to your entire family. Brie touched so many people and in doing so changed the world for the better. You were fortunate to have had her in your lives, although for far too brief a time.

Bill, Ann, David, & Kayla- I just now found out about Brie and it's Thursday at 1pm. I'm so sad that I didn't know and wasn't able to come today or last night. I am so blessed as a person and a special education teacher to have had the opportunity to work with Brie. Ann- you and Brie taught me the true meaning of inclusion and how to implement it successfully. You have shaped who I am as a teacher today, and I will be forever grateful! I can close my eyes right now and see Brie running,...

Although I did not know the family personally, having traveled the road they have, I am sending my deep sympathy and understanding to you. I noted in Brianna's notice that she woke up each morning with joy and happiness, it reminds me so much of my son Bryant and how lived his life much the same way. It is a very deep loss, tempered with the immense joy of knowing and loving such an incredible soul. May your memories sustain you at this time.
