MESICK — Brianne Lorraine Parker, age 23, passed away on April 26, 2009. Brianne was born on Jan. 29, 1986, at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.
Brianne was working on her bachelor's degree in social work.
When not studying, she enjoyed being with her friends, her motorcycle and horseback riding.
She is survived by her father, David E. Parker; mother, Paula R. (Schryer) Parker; brother, Wesley D. Parker, all of Mesick; and sister, Nikia R. Parker and Don Oster of Manton. She is also survived by grandparents, Wendell and Mary Parker of Traverse City, and Gerald and Wanda Schryer of Merritt; three aunts; three uncles; three nieces; and two nephews.
Brianne was preceded in death by two uncles, Edward R. and Gerald A. Schryer.
A memorial luncheon will be held on May 8, 2009, between 1 and 4 p.m., at the American Legion Post 300, 114 N. Main St., Lake City. Brianne's final resting place will be at the Lake City Cemetery.

I think of Bri often. We were best friends growing up. I know it’s been a long time since her passing. I think about summers playing in the creek and, all the fun we use to have. To Paula and David, I think you all often. ❤

I didn't know this person, but what a tragedy to lose your life at age 23. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers. I hope that the thought of her being in God's arms may comfort you.
