Brice Allen Hendrick

Brother Brice was one our teachers at Thibodaux College High School in Thibodaux, LA. Not only was he a great teacher, but also became a close friend when both of my parents passed away in 1962, my senior year. He provided much needed direction during that difficult time and I will forever be thankful for his kindness. We will be praying for God´s blessings and peace for the family. As my high school principal in the late 60's, "Brother" Brice commanded respect and admiration by his calmly stoic yet friendly demeanor. Great to read the obit bio and stories to know a fuller dimension of his character. His sidekick back then, a jet black German shepherd named midnight, added to his mystique. Honored to have share a brief walk in his path. Amen

He was a very special Uncle to me. He always seemed happy and greeted us with lots of love, hugs and teasing. I loved his teasing. He was a kind man and his jokes and sarcasm made him fun to be with. I am thankful for him and the source of encouragement he was in my life. He will be sorely missed but I am comforted by the fact that he is resting in the arms of Jesus and re-united with the rest of his family.

Eternal rest grant upon him O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God. Rest In Peace Brice. Amen.
