Brice Deverne Stoddard

DeWitt - Brice Deverne Stoddard, age 38 of DeWitt, AR died Friday, June 13, 2014 at his home after a tragic accident. Brice was born on June 28, 1975 in DeWitt, AR to LouAnna Davis Jacobs and Lonnie Stoddard. He attended DeWitt Public Schools and graduated from DeWitt High School with the Class of 1993. He was baptized on November 29, 2010 into the General Assembly and Church of the First Born. He was an active and faithful member until his death. He was employed by Bayer Crop Science of DeWitt. Brice is preceded in death by his grandparents Paul and Lizzie Davis, Vernie and Ruth Stoddard and step brother Hunter Allen Butler. He is survived by his wife Broek Stoddard, parents LouAnna Jacobs (Mike) and Lonnie Stoddard (Jane) all of DeWitt, one sister Tawana Watson (Dean) of St. Charles, AR. He had two daughters: Lauren and Madalyne Stoddard of DeWitt; a step son Jacob Capps and step daughter Kailly Hoots of the home; step brother Drew Jacobs (Lauren) of Stuttgart; mother-in-law Genia Jacobs of DeWitt; sister-in-law Audra Jacobs of Cabot, one nephew Mason Jacobs, two nieces Addison O'Dell and Aubree Ransom of Cabot and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Brice enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with his family and friends. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, June 18th, at the General Assembly and Church of the First Born with burial at Thompson Cemetery by Essex Funeral Home.
