Brielle Alyse Ann Kelly passed away Thursday June 26th at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center’s Children’s Hospital with her parents and sister by her side. Brielle was born at the Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center on October 16th, 2008, to Matthew James and Tina Melisa Oakes Kelly, of Duncannon, PA, joining her older sister Alayna Melisa Grace. Brielle was a fighter from the start. She was an inspiration to all. No matter the situation Brielle was always quick to smile or to give a hug and kiss. A huge Disney fan, Brielle dreamed of growing up to become a Princess. On her Make -A-Wish trip to Disney World she was able to meet her favorite Princess Ariel, and even had her hand kissed by Prince Eric. During that trip she was also able to ride a horse at Give Kids the World Village. Brielle loved her cooking shows and acted as her “Mommy and Daddy’s little sous chef” whenever she could. She could spend hours watching the food network and always asked “Can we make that?” Her favorite cooking show was Pioneer Woman and she would provide a running commentary during Chopped and Cut-throat Kitchen. Brielle loved to dance and sing. At her first dance recital Brielle decided, on her own, that one of the other classes needed help and ran right out on stage to join them. Brielle also loved swimming, going to the drive-in and collecting shells at the beach. In November of 2013 Brielle and Alayna received the Royal Treatment at a Princess party at the Hotel Hershey thrown by Jamie’s Dream Team. She is survived by her sister Alayna Melisa Grace; her parents Tina Oakes Kelly & Matthew Kelly; her Grandparents Charles & Wendi Oakes and her Grandmother Janet Kelly; her Great-Grandmother Sylvia DeMartyn; her Great Grandfather Norbert Kelly Sr.; her 2 Uncles: Charles Oakes III & John Kelly; her 4 Aunts: Jenifer Hardie, Jenifer Kelly, Heather Frantz and Jenifer Kelly; her 8 cousins Charles Oakes IV, Bradley Oakes, Ava Oakes, Taylor Kelly, Kathyrn Hollis, Daniel Hollis, Riley Kelly and Emma Kelly. She is proceeded in death by her Grandfather Norbert Kelly, her Great Grandfather George DeMartyn, her Great Grandparents: Charles & Marion Oakes and James & Leigh Renshaw and her Great Grandmother Patricia Kelly. A viewing to be held at the Ronald CL Smith Funeral Home 325 N High St, in Duncannon, PA Sunday, July 6, 2014, from 6 pm to 8 pm. Funeral services will be held on July 7, 2014 at 11 am. A viewing will be held prior from 10-11am. Burial will take place at Union Cemetery. Services to be followed by a luncheon reception at the pavilion at Wagner Park, Paradise Road Duncannon. In lieu of flowers, donations are being accepted for The Strong Angels Fund, Integrity Bank. Jamie’s Dream Team is also going to honor Brielle by collecting new baby and child items to deliver to children with chronic Illness in the hospital. To the Oakes/Kelly families, our hearts hurt for the passing of dear Brielle. We followed the news so close of when she received her transplant. Just watching the new life in her gave us hope for Tony , that all he could think about was Brielle. We loved
